Halloween thrill-seekers will soon have another reason to visit Massachusetts. 13th World Fright Park returns for its fifth season on Saturday, September 26, 2026, bringing an expanded collection of haunted attractions, Halloween-themed entertainment, food, drinks, games and terrifying encounters to Palmer.
Located at 1701 Park Street in Palmer, Massachusetts, 13th World has developed a reputation as one of New England’s most intense Halloween destinations. Its 2026 season will introduce several new experiences while bringing back many of the attractions that have helped make the fright park a favorite among horror fans.

“Every year we strive to add new features and enhance the experiences that we know our fans love and want to experience again and again, and this year we’ve outdone ourselves with new additions guaranteed to terrify and delight guests,” said Rich Vaillant, co-founder of 13th World Fright Park.
According to Vaillant, this year’s event has been designed to offer two distinct sides of the Halloween experience. Inside the haunt, visitors can expect the traditional scares, unsettling characters and immersive environments associated with a haunted attraction. Outside, the fright park will place a greater emphasis on Halloween-themed activities, entertainment and opportunities for guests to spend more time together before and after entering the main attractions.
New Experiences Coming to 13th World in 2026

One of this season’s biggest additions is the new Pumpkin Bar, a full-service bar serving adult beverages, cocktails and other Halloween-inspired drinks. The Pumpkin Bar joins the returning Poison Pub, giving adult visitors another place to grab a seasonal drink while enjoying the atmosphere of the park.
Guests will also be able to capture their visit with a new 360-degree video experience. The platform uses a rotating camera to record attendees from every angle while they pose and interact with some of 13th World’s monsters. The resulting video should provide visitors with a memorable—and potentially frightening—souvenir to share on social media.

The fright park is also introducing Pre-Scare at the Pavilion, a Halloween version of the festivities that traditionally take place before a sporting event. From 5:00 to 6:30 p.m., the pavilion will feature drinks, photo opportunities and an interactive fun-zone experience intended to get guests into the Halloween spirit before entering the haunt.
After the pre-scare period, the pavilion will be available to rent for private birthday parties, corporate functions and similar gatherings. This new option makes it possible for groups to turn a night at 13th World into a larger private event.

For guests looking to test their courage in a particularly unnerving way, the park is adding an experience called Alone. Participants must wear a blindfold and hold onto a rope as they attempt to navigate the trail to its conclusion. Without the ability to see what may be waiting around them, visitors will have to rely on touch, sound and their own nerves to make it through.
Two new Halloween midway games are also joining the 2026 lineup. In Dead Ringer, players attempt to toss rings around crows attached to a dead farmer. Rotten Patches challenges participants to throw pumpkins and knock crows from scarecrows. These new games will complement returning fright park favorites such as Midway of Madness and the memorably named Shit Head.
The Midway will also feature several new photo opportunities, allowing visitors to commemorate their night at 13th World with creative Halloween scenes and characters.
A Terrifying New Barn and Upgraded Trail

The haunted trail itself has received a substantial upgrade for the upcoming season. A completely new barn environment will transport guests into a sinister rural setting filled with a cornfield, barn stalls, creepy animal illusions and inhabitants described as “un-humans.”
The new setting expands the immersive storytelling of the attraction while tapping into some of the most unsettling images associated with rural horror. Visitors should prepare for considerably more than an ordinary walk through the barn.
Returning guests can also revisit several fan-favorite attractions throughout the park. These include Moonlight Mayhem, a nightmarish journey beginning at the Moonlight Motel; Hell Fire House, a twisted maze filled with darkness, fog and fire; and Prison of Torture, an attraction designed to bring its guests’ worst fears to life.

Other returning experiences include Slasher Theater, the Gore Store and the Casket Cafe.

Visitors who believe a conventional haunted-house experience is not frightening enough can choose the Touch of Fear option. This upgrade gives 13th World’s monsters permission to physically touch participating guests as they make their way through the haunt, taking the interaction—and the fear—to another level.
Building on a Record-Setting Season
The additions arrive following a record-setting 2025 season for 13th World. The fright park reported its highest attendance to date and received national recognition from HauntWorld, which ranked it among the country’s 10 scariest haunted houses.
“We’re one of the best in the world at scaring and entertaining people, and this year our new additions will elevate the scares and Halloween experience to even greater heights,” said Zeke Fornier, co-founder of 13th World Fright Park.

“We’re excited to continue scaring the daylights out of guests and confident that with all the new amenities—including the pre-scare activities, food, drinks, games and other entertainment—that people won’t have any reason to ever leave.”
By combining its haunted trails with bars, food, games, photo opportunities and pre-show entertainment, 13th World is positioning itself as more than a traditional haunted house. Visitors can arrive before their scheduled fright, explore the park’s activities and make an entire evening out of the experience.
