Welcome to Pacific 19 Kona Hotel, the Big Island’s newest (and one of the few) independent boutique hotels, nestled in the heart of Kailua-Kona. Renovated and reopened in 2023, our hotel has a modern island-urban vibe. We pride ourselves on offering a unique experience that steers clear of the cliché, setting a new standard in Hawaiian hospitality.
With 150 well-appointed rooms, our guests enjoy access to an exceptional staff, a vibrant pool and lounge area, an on-site cafe with award winning baristas, a carefully curated lobby store, and a dynamic programming calendar designed to bring locals and guests together.
But, we’re not just a hotel; we’re your ideal Big Island basecamp to go out and explore the island. Dive into our ‘Field Notes’ section for meticulously crafted itineraries, local ‘best of’ lists, and insightful destination features. Or, book the best Big Island activities through our curated Pacific 19 Experiences, designed to immerse you in the adventure, beauty, and culture of Hawaii.
That’s why we like to stay affordable – so our guests can put their travel dollars towards amazing on-island experiences. But we’ve invested in luxury where it counts, like premium bedding and linens, high-end custom bath amenities, local artwork, and an expansive in-room “macrobar” with a wide selection of snacks, drinks and tasty cocktails to fuel your explorations.
Pacific 19’s prime location on Ali’i Drive places you at the center of Kailua-Kona’s local restaurants, bars, and shops. Just a stone’s throw away from the ocean, our hotel is a quick stroll (less than a few minutes) to the serene Kailua Bay, perfect for swimming and snorkeling, and the white sand of Kamakahonu Beach next to Kailua Pier (the start of the famed Ironman Championship).
Experience the pulse of Kailua-Kona as you explore Ali’i Drive or the lively Brew Block, a popular dining hub approximately one mile away. Our strategic location offers the best of Kailua-Kona at your doorstep.
