Live Your Own 5-Star Vacation Story in Puerto Rico!
Puerto Rico has often been called the gay center of the Caribbean as it is the most gay-friendly Caribbean island. You will find a host of accommodations, restaurants, clubs and bars that cater to the gay clientele.
Most of the LGBT infrastructure can be found in the Old City of San Juan. This beautiful walled city still preserves its stunning colonial architecture, ranging from fortresses to colorful buildings; many declared World Heritage Sites by UNESCO.
A great way to go out and explore Old San Juan is by bike. We recommend Rent The Bicycle, a tour company specializing in everything from guided tours to hourly bike rentals.
All bike tours are by reservation and offered twice a day, and, if interested, Rent The Bicycle, will even customize a tour for you!
After all that exploring you will want to wind down with some retail therapy!
No matter where you are on the island, you will be sure to find a shopping mall within reach. There are over 20 shopping malls, including the largest one in the Caribbean, The Mall of San Juan.
There are also unique shopping districts, from luxury designer fashions in Condado, to handmade artisan goods in Old San Juan.

Then, of course, there is the nightlife!
Condado, San Juan’s gayest beach neighborhood, has a high concentration of gay / LGBT friendly nightclubs including such hot spots as Oceano, a gay-owned, modern mansion, located right on the gay beach in the heart of San Juan, delivering a state-of-the-art oceanfront dining experience for both lunch and dinner!
Oceano attracts a mix of straight/LGBT clientele and is a great place to indulge yourself in a chic, trendy atmosphere.
Santurce, San Juan’s hub for gay bars, is located 10 minutes from car from Condado. One of Santurce’s most popular gay clubs is Circo, a gay dance club that packs in both tourists and locals. Enjoy dancing, drag shows, go-go boys and a great energy with two floors and multiple bars to explore.

After an exciting night of dancing, relaxing the day away at one of Puerto Rico’s beautiful beaches!
Puerto Rico is surrounded by more than 270 miles of coastline.
The “gay beach” is located at the foot of Calle Vendig (Vendig Street), in front of Oceano bar/restaurant.
